No-Boil Creamy Pasta Bake

This delicious creamy pasta bake is cooked in one baking dish. You don’t even need to boil the pasta first! You’re probably thinking, Houri, this is not going to work, the pasta will be raw! No, it will not be raw! The pasta will cook in the oven! It’s truly amazing how delicious a dish you literally only spend 5 minutes prepping for can taste. I promise you that if you try making this dish, it will be one that is going to save your busy weeknights for sure!

As I’m sure you’ve noticed, I love the concept of quick tasty meals with minimal prep. One of my favorite ways to cook is to put everything in a casserole dish, put it in the oven, and then walk away. Same with my old IntaPot, my crockpot and more recently, my air fryer. I love the concept of putting everything into one cooking vessel!

Much like many of you who are reading my recipe right now, I was skeptical about cooking pasta in the oven like this. Once I started working on this recipe, I realized that you can absolutely cook pasta in the oven! The most important thing is having the right amount of liquid, and a yummy recipe! You can add different veggies such as peppers, mushrooms etc. and even different proteins! If you’re adding meat, please make sure it reaches the guidelines for safe internal temperatures.

You’re going to be addicted to by this recipe. You literally just put everything into a baking dish, cover it, put it in the oven, and step away. One of the best parts? The house will smell like you’ve been working in the kitchen for hours! Give my recipe a try, you’ll be hooked!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 8 ounces of pasta (I used spaghettini)

  • 1 Boursin cheese (you can use cream cheese too)

  • 1 cup of cherry tomatoes

  • 4 garlic cloves (minced or pressed)

  • 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth

STEPS:

  1. Add all the ingredients in different corners of your big baking dish. Give the pile of garlic a quick mix, to disperse the flavors.

  2. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.

  3. Uncover and continue to bake for another 15 minutes.

  4. Remove from the oven, mix and enjoy!

  5. Bon appétit!
